The Duke Hotel continues its long tradition of collaboration as technical sponsor of the art exhibitions at the Vittoriano. The exhibitionwill shed light on an aspect still neglected in studies and exhibitions daliniane: the Spanish artist's relationship with Italy. Italy is in fact constant, the red wire, the element that held together all the works on display.
Theexhibition is the task of weaving the thread between the artist and the man to return in the round genius Salvador, which has created by his bizarre character and biography a fascinating and evocative images of plastic and literary unique.

From February 5th – to February 27th 2012
The AuditoriumParco della Musica in February will host the eighth edition of the Balance - New Dance Festival, the exhibition gives an insight on the world dance by hosting emerging artists and masters of lofty international scene. Also this year the artistic direction was entrusted to Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, choreographer and dancer frequent guest of the Belgian program of Music for Rome. The program developed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui alternate historical figures of dance and dance-theater to younger artists, who move in border areas between dance, circus and theater. Within the Festival, the traditional appointment with the Rome Prize for contemporary dance Balance now in its fifth edition.

As the third edition of Books in the company of great Italian and foreign authors. As to the third edition of Books, in addition to continuing the journey in creativity in the company of great teachers - among others this year will be John Banville, the Irish writer repeatedly nominated for Nobel and recent winner of the prestigious Franz Kafka Prize for Literature - throws a look at the contemporary world, a world that can change so rapidly within 12 months, including rollovers, and deep social crisis. Subway Feast, How to Books, a large workshop on the present and future of the book with the participation of major authors and new promises of literature and nonfiction Italian and international.

Maxxi has been inaugurated in May 2010. Realized by the famous Zara Hadidv, it has been conceived as a multidisciplinary centre of arts and architecture. It hosts two permanent collections managed by Maxxi Art and Maxxi Architecture institutions.
The guests can buy directly at the hotel entrance to the Museum with VIP entrance to avoid unnecessary queues.
